True enough, there are many ways to launch and promote products online. I was rather impressed by Design Diva when it first launchedits Vote up count down feature. What’s cool about it is when you vote for a particular fabric, the count down starts and you can then purchase it at a cheaper price. With so many fabrics on the online store, the next fabric will be up on count down mode when the previous one is sold. I thought that was a simple yet innovative way to promote the store’s luxury and interior fabric while creating an interest among online shoppers!

Two more days and Mother’s day is here! I hope you have planned something for mom. Showing your love doesn’t have to cost alot. It can be a warm hug, a gentle kiss, a handmade card, a home cooked meal or just taking mom to a park for a stroll. Sometimes, we get so caught up with the material things of this world that we have forgotten the simple things in life. I’m not saying that buying gifts is not good but it’s about striking a balance of doing things from the heart. Always remember the famous saying that, “You can give with loving but you cannot love without giving”.

Oh well, everyone is talking about eco fashion, eco style, eco trends and even eco eyewear! I’ve only gone as far as buying an eco tote bag and a few eco friendly household items but haven’t got round to eco fashion. Most of these gorgeous eco clothing can be found online and living up that eco lifestyle is as easy as it can be.

For a long time now, I have been a big fan of Apple Computers. I could still remember my first Macintosh - a Quadra before moving on the an iMac, then an iBook and now, a MacBook Pro. But other than that, I have never been enticed to buy an iPod though I did wanted an iPhone when it was first launched. Sometimes I find myself getting attracted to the chic iPod and iPhone cases than the devices themselves. I even wonder if I can use them for other purposes like storing my cell phone or video card. I’m a fairly athletic person since I was a little girl. I participated in sports day, high jump, badminton, ping pong, squash games, long jump, relay running and even attempted to take up tennis when I was a teenager. Though I’m not well versed with vehicle brand names and such, I enjoy checking out new vehicles in car shows and new launches. I have to say that driving a vehicle is more than just bringing one from point A to point B these days. People pick a vehicle based on many factors including the performance, form, aesthetic and function. As a woman, I tend to choose the aesthetic first before peeking into details the performance and features of the car.

I’m quite certain that many of you have heard of melanoma and the harmful effects of long term sun exposure. Lately, I have received many promotional brochures in my mailbox on tanning services. According to Screen, Inc., the UVA rays from tanning salons are 2 - 3X more powerful than the UVA rays which occur naturally from the sun. Blame it on those oily and fried foods I have been consuming the last few weeks. It looks like my tea tree oil hasn’t helped much to remove the stubborn zits on my forehead - yucks! Maybe it’s time to look for the right acne treatment or maybe I should just be patient with my tea tree oil and most importantly, take more fresh fruits/vegetables and alot of water.
